ABOUT ME

Diana Vrkljan born in Osijek, since 2001 she has been living & working in Zagreb. She finished primary and secondary school in Osijek, where she also graduated from the Faculty of Education ( today the Faculty of Philosophy ), study programme ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ENGLISH LITERATURE AND GERMAN LANGUAGE AND GERMAN LITERATURE.

She has gained long-standing experience working at first in 2. Technical Mechanical Engineering School in Osijek, and afterwards in The Vocational School for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in Zagreb. Since the early faculty days she has been teaching foreign languages to children and young people of all ages, especially to foreign language university students.

From 2001 to 2008 she was an external colleague of the Music Academy in Zagreb- teaching English and German Language. During all these years she translated a variety of texts from diverse fields from Croatian into English/German and vice versa. In 2019, having passed the necessary examination, she was appointed by the County Court in Zagreb a court interpreter for the English and German Language.

Lately she has been helping candidates with preparing for exams levels A1-C1 ( Common European Framework of Reference for Languages )- especially for the need of employment of candidates abroad, and she has been providing candidates with certified translations of documents needed for the same purpose.
